1.Salty Dog:Popular cocktail, a variation of "Greyhound". Historically it's a gin drink, but gin may be substituted with vodka.
Preparation method:
1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add 40ml gin and 100ml grapefruit juice.
3. Pour into salt rimmed highball glass with ice.
2.Sambuca:Traditional preparation of sambuca.
Preparation method:
1. Drop 3 coffee beans into rocks glass.
2. Pour 50ml sambuca into cognac glass and light it up.
3. Allow it to burn for 10-15 seconds while slowly turning so that sambuca gets on the glass sides.
4. Pour burning sambuca into rocks glass and put cognac glass on top of the rocks upside down.
5. Still holding the cognac glass upside down put it on a napkin.
6. Drink sambuca from the rocks glass, eat coffee beans and inhale from the cognac glass.
3.Sangria:A refreshing drink popular during Summer, especially in Spain and Portugal. The ingredients are variable - you can use white wine instead of red wine, or add your own choice of fruits like lime, apple, peach, pineapple, grape etc. The drink is named after Spanish word "Sangre" which means "blood". The recipe here is for several servings.
Preparation method:1. Pour one bottle of red or white wine into pitcher.
2. Cut an orange and lemon into wedges and slightly squeeze them into wine.
3. Add other fruits according to your taste!
4. Add 3-4 teaspoons of sugar or honey.
5. Pour 50ml brandy and optionally 200ml ginger ale or soda if you want the drink to be softer.
6. Optionally add some ice cubes and stir.
4.Sangrita:A non-alcoholic drink that usually accompanies tequila shots. You drink a shot of sangrita after taking a shot of tequila. Many variations of Sangrita recipe exist, the current recipe is not an authentic Mexican, but the version that is usually popular around the world and easy to make. The recipe is for 1L pitcher of Sangrita.
Preparation method:1. Pour 600ml tomato juice and 300ml orange juice into pitcher.
2. Add 100ml lime juice, 20ml Tabasco and 1/2-1 teaspoons of pepper and salt.
3. Garnish with orange slice and celery.
5.Sazerac:Sazerac is a New Orleans variation of Whiskey Sour cocktail, named for the Sazerac de Forge et Fils brand of cognac.
Preparation method:1. Fill Rocks glass with ice cubes.
2. Muddle one sugar cube or one teaspoon sugar syrup with 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitter in another glass.
3. Add 60ml rye whiskey to the mixture and stir.
4. Empty the ice from the first glass, pour 5ml absinthe and swirl to coat the sides of the glass.
5. Discard remains of the absinthe and pour the mixture into the coated glass.
6. Rib the rim of the glass with a lemon peel and leave it in the cocktail.
6.Scarlett O'Hara:
Preparation method:1. Fill collins glass with ice.
2. Add 60ml Southern Comfort and 10ml lime juice.
3. Top with cranberry juice and garnish with lime wedge.
7.Screaming Orgasm:Stronger variation of "Orgasm" cocktail with vodka.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add 10ml vodka, 10ml Amaretto, 10ml coffee liqueur and 10ml Bailey's.
3. Shake and strain into shooter glass.
8.Screwdriver:Simple and popular IBA official cocktail. The drink reportedly got its name because American petroleum engineers in Saudi Arabia secretly added vodka to small cans of orange juice and stirred the mixture with their screwdrivers.
Preparation method:1. Fill Highball glass with ice cubes.
2. Pour 50ml vodka and 100ml orange juice over ice.
3. Stir gently and garnish with orange slice.
9.Sea Breeze:Simple and very popular IBA official cocktail is the best choice during hot summer.
Preparation method:1. Fill Highball glass with ice cubes.
2. Pour 40ml vodka, 120ml cranberry juice and 30ml grapefruit juice.
3. Stir gently and garnish with lime wedge.
10.Sex on the Beach:Simple and popular IBA official cocktail, has many variations. "Modern sex on the beach" has pineapple juice instead of orange juice.
Preparation method:1. Fill Highball glass with ice cubes.
2. Pour 40ml vodka, 20ml peach schnapps, 40ml orange juice and 40ml cranberry juice.
3. Stir gently and garnish with orange slice.
11.Sexy Alligator:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Pour 30ml Midori and 30ml pineapple juice.
3. Shake well and strain into Martini glass.
4. Carefully add 30ml Amaretto, allow it to go to the bottom.
5. Carefully add 15ml Jägermeister on top.
12.Shirley Temple:Simple and popular non-alcoholic cocktail.
Preparation method:1. Fill collins glass with ice cubes.
2. Add 60ml ginger ale and 60ml lemonade, or just 120ml ginger ale.
3. Add a dash of grenadine.
4. Stir well and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
13.Sidecar:The cocktail was supposedly created during World War I in a parisian bistro.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice.
2. Add 50ml Cognac or Bourbon, 30ml Cointreau and 15ml lemon juice.
3. Shake well and strain into sugar rimmed cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with lemon twist.
14.Silver Bullet:This is not for everybody, rich scotch flavor and gin will blow your head off. Gin to scotch ratio is highly variable. This drink can be also made as shooter.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker or mixing glass with ice.
2. Add 30ml scotch whiskey and 60ml gin.
3. Stir and strain into cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with lemon twist.
15.Singapore Sling:IBA official cocktail, developed by a bartender working at the Long Bar in Raffles Hotel Singapore. The hotel's recipe was recreated based on the memories of former bartenders and written notes that they were able to discover regarding the original recipe. The current Raffles Hotel recipe is a heavily modified version of the original.
Preparation method:1. Squeeze half lemon into shaker filled with ice.
2. Add other ingredients and shake well.
3. Strain into Hurricane.
16.Southside:A refreshing gin-based drink, commonly consumed in summer.
Preparation method:1. Fill cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add 60ml gin, 20ml fresh lime juice, 20ml sugar syrup.
3. Shake well, add a mint spring and shake again carefully not to bruise the mint.
4. Strain into cocktail glass and garnish with a mint leaf or a mint sprig.
17.Slippery Nipple:Very smooth and beautiful shot.
Preparation method:1. Pour 20ml sambuca into shooter glass.
2. Carefully pour 25ml Bailey's on top of sambuca.
3. Drop a dash of Grenadine syrup (optional).
18.Sneaky Pete:Another variation of classic "White Russian" cocktail made with whiskey instead of vodka.
Preparation method:1. Fill rocks glass with ice cubes.
2. Pour 30ml rye whiskey, 30ml coffe liqueur and 30ml milk or cream.
3. Stir well.
19.Snowball:Simple and delicious. In UK may be called "winter warmer".
Preparation method:1. Pour 60ml cold egg liqueur into Collins glass.
2. Optionally add 15ml lime juice.
3. Carefully fill to the top with lemonade.
20.Spritz Veneziano:IBA official sparkling cocktail. Prosecco is recommended as sparkling wine.
Preparation method:1. Fill rocks glass with ice.
2. Add 60ml sparkling wine and 40ml Aperol.
3. Top with splash of soda water.
4. Garnish with orange slice.
21.Stay Sober:Delightful refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail. Ratio of ingredients is variable according to your taste.
Preparation method:1. Fill highball glass with ice cubes.
2. Pour 30ml apple juice and 30ml cranberry juice.
3. Top with ginger beer.
22.Stinger:IBA official after-dinner strong drink.
Preparation method:1. Fill mixing glass with ice.
2. Add 50ml cognac and 20ml Creme de menthe white.
3. Stir and strain into cocktail glass.
23.Strawberry Colada:A variation of Piña Colada with strawberries.
Preparation method:1. Fill blender or shaker with crushed ice.
2. Add 30ml rum, 20ml strawberry liqueur, 50gr of strawberries or strawberry puree.
3. Add 30ml coconut cream and 90ml pineapple juice.
4. Shake or blend until smooth and pour into chilled goblet.
5. Garnish with pineapple wedge and maraschino cherry.
6. Optionally top with whipped cream.
24.Strawberry Daiquiri:Popular variation of a Daiquiri cocktail. The recipe here is for 3-4 drinks.
Preparation method:1. Put some ice into blender.
2. Add 120gr strawberries with 50gr sugar.
3. Pour 100ml lemon juice and 25ml lime juice.
4. Finally, add 170ml light rum and blend until smooth.
5. Pour into cocktail glass and garnish with strawberry.
25.Strawberry Margarita:A variation of classic Margarita cocktail. The recipe here is for 3-4 drinks.
Preparation method:1. Put some ice and 120gr strawberries into blender.
2. Add 170ml tequila, 100ml Cointreau or Triple Sec and 80ml lime juice.
3. Blend until smooth and pour into Margarita glasses.
4. Garnish with strawberry.
26.Swimming Pool:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Pour 30ml vodka, 60ml white rum.
3. Add 15ml cream, 30ml coconut milk and 60ml pineapple juice.
4. Shake well and strain into hurricane glass filled with ice.
5. Pour 15ml Blue Curaçao on the top.
6. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.
27.Tequila Slammer:Also called "Tequila boom", the cocktail is great for a noisy party.
Preparation method:1. Pour 50ml tequila into Rocks glass.
2. Add 50ml to 100ml 7-Up or other carbonated beverage.
3. Hold one hand over the top of the glass, quickly slam it onto a hard surface to release bubbles and quickly drink.
28.Tequila Sunrise:The cocktail was invented in the 1930-40s by Gene Sulit and names for the way it looks after it has been poured into glass. It is an IBA official cocktail.
Preparation method:1. Fill highball glass with ice cubes.
2. Pour 45ml tequila and 90ml orange juice over the ice.
3. Add 15ml grenadine syrup, do not stir.
4. Garnish with orange slice and cherry.
29.Tintoretto:A variation of IBA official "Bellini" cocktail.
Preparation method:1. Put some ice into mixing glass.
2. Add 50ml fresh pomegranate juice and 100ml sparkling wine.
3. Gently stir with cocktail spoon and strain into champagne flute.
30.Toasted Almond:A variation of this cocktail with vodka is called "Roasted Toasted Almond".
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add 45ml Amaretto, 45ml coffee liqueur and 30ml cream.
3. Shake and strain into rocks glass.
31.Tom and Jerry:Classic winter cocktail, very popular during Christmas time.
Preparation method:1. Separate egg white from egg yolk, beat them separately.
2. Pour the egg white on top of the yolk in an Irish coffee glass.
3. Carefully add 15ml sugar syrup (or sugar), 30ml dark rum and 30ml Cognac or brandy.
4. Fill with hot milk and garnish with grated nutmeg.
32.Tom Collins:This is a variation of John Collins cocktail with Old Tom Gin. The cocktail memorialized in writing in 1876 by "the father of American mixology" Jerry Thomas.
Preparation method:1. Fill Collins glass with ice.
2. Pour 45ml Old Tom Gin, 30ml lemon juice and 15ml sugar syrup over the ice.
3. Top with club soda.
4. Garnish with cherry or orange slice.
33.Tommy's Margarita:IBA official variation of Margarita cocktial.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add 45ml tequila, 15ml lime juice and 5ml agave nectar.
3. Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with lime peel.
34.Tootsie Roll:Nice and mild shot, an attempt to recall the famous "Tootsie Roll" candy. Can be built in a shooter glass without using shaker. The recipe here is for 3-4 shots.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Pour 45ml coffee liqueur and 45ml orange juice.
3. Add 45ml vodka if you want to make it stronger.
4. Shake well and strain into shooter.
35.Tropic Dream:Delicious non-alcoholic summer beverage.
Preparation method:1. Put some ice, a banana and several strawberries into blender.
2. Add 150ml pineapple juice and 30ml coconut syrup.
3. Blend until smooth and pour into hurricane glass.
4. Top with whipped cream and garnish with strawberry.
36.Tuxedo:IBA official all-day cocktail.
Preparation method:1. Fill mixing glass with ice cubes.
2. Add 30ml Old Tom Gin, 30ml dry vermouth, a dash of maraschino liqueur.
3. Add several drops of absinthe and 3 dashes of orange bitters.
4. Stir and strain into cocktail glass.
5. Garnish with maraschino cherry and/or lemon peel.
37.Washington Apple:1. Fill Highball glass with ice cubes.
2. Add 60ml rye whiskey and 60ml apple liqueur.
3. Add about 60ml cranberry juice to the top.
38.Ward 8:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add 60ml rye whiskey, 15ml lemon juice, 15ml orange juice and a dash of Grenadine.
3. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with a cherry.
39.Water Moccasin:Named after venomous snake "Agkistrodon piscivorus". But it's a bitter-sweet mild shot. The recipe here is for 2-3 drinks.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add 30ml peach schnapps, 30ml rye canadian whisky and 30ml sour mix.
3. Pour a dash of triple sec or other orange liqueur.
4. Shake well and strain into shot glasses.
40.Weng Weng:1. Put some ice into collins glass.
2. Pour 20ml vodka, 20ml tequila, 20ml brandy, 20ml bourbon, 20ml scotch and 20ml rum.
3. Fill in with equal portions of orange juice and pineapple juice to the top.
4. Add a dash of grenadine.
5. Stir gently.
41.Whiskey Rebellion:One of the most popular cocktails with Pimm's No. 1. Pimms makes an interesting addition of herbs and spices to this whiskey drink.
Preparation method:1. Pour 30ml of Pimm's No. 1 and 30ml rye whiskey into cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add 15ml lemon juice and 15ml sugar syrup.
3. Shake well and strain into rocks glass over ice cubes.
4. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
42.Whiskey Sour:IBA official pre-dinner cocktail. The oldest historical mention of a whisky sour prepared in the world comes from a newspaper published in Wisconsin USA in 1870.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice.
2. Add 45ml bourbon whiskey, 30ml lemon juice, 15ml sugar syrup and a dash of egg white.
3. Shake well and strain into Rocks or Cobbler glass.
4. Garnish with orange slice and maraschino cherry.
43.White Lady:IBA official all-day cocktail.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add 40ml gin, 30ml Triple Sec and 20ml lemon juice.

44.White Russian:Variation of Black Russian cocktail with addition of cream. Named "Russian" because of vodka being the primary ingredient.
Preparation method:1. Put some ice cubes into Rocks glass.

3. Stir gentle.
45.Woo Woo:Popular party long drink.
Preparation method:1. Put ice cubes into highball glass.
2. Pour 60ml vodka, 30ml peach schnapps and 120ml cranberry juice.
3. Stir well and garnish with lime wedge.
46.Yellow Bird:IBA official all-day cocktail.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice cubes.
2. Add 30ml white rum, 15ml Galliano, 15ml Triple Sec and 15ml lime juice.
3. Shake and strain into chilled cocktail glass.
47.Yorsh:Russian cocktail for people who want to get drunk really fast. Beer to vodka ratio varies according to taste. In one variation vodka shot is dropped into glass half filled with beer. Drink quickly.
Preparation method:1. Pour 200ml beer into Collins glass.
2. Add 40ml vodka, stir well and drink quickly.
48.Zombie:The cocktail has its name with a reason. High alcohol concentration is hidden with tasteful fruit juices, so beware of suddenly becoming a zombie after drinking this. Feel free to alter ingredients according to your taste.
Preparation method:1. Fill shaker with ice.
2. Add 50ml White Rum 50ml, Golden Rum and 50ml Dark Rum.
3. Add 50ml Apricot Brandy, 50ml Pineapple juice and 50ml Papaya juice.
4. Shake well and pour into "Zombie glass" or Hurricane.
5. Add a dash of Grenadine and top with 151-proof rum.
